Posting opinions and self-censorship

I have thinking about posting opinions publicly on Facebook or wherever a lot lately. The fact that I keep returning to this idea means that it is something that bothers me. A bit of background about myself. I was very shy as a kid and a teenager. So much so that I remember having a hard time ordering food at a fast food restaurant because I would get anxious to talk to the cashier. What if I didn’t know the answer to the question they asked, what if I order the food wrong and they get upset? It seems silly now to think about that but those questions actually went through my mind. As I grew older and was forced to talk to people for my job at Target or to get the things I wanted I became more and more comfortable with myself. I spent a lot of time reading books on how to talk to girls (as a young man that was pretty much on my mind all the time) and experience doing interviews at Target I learned a few things.
One that most people are just as self-absorbed as I was, meaning that the minor interaction that I built up in my mind as a huge deal, would not be remembered 5 minutes after the interaction happened. Two that people were just as worried about how other people saw them as I was. Three, life goes on, even if you make a fool of yourself, you learn from your mistakes and become better (so what if a girl shoots you down, there are 5 more girls right over there, every no is just one step closer to a yes. I am now married to the most amazing woman ever so it really does work).
So how does this tie in with posting or saying opinions publicly? The same anxiousness I felt as a teenager ordering food from a cashier is the same anxiousness I feel when posting things on Facebook. What if my friends don’t like my point of view and laugh at me about it? What if they retort what I am saying and I don’t have an answer for them and I look foolish? Very real concerns in our current social and political climate.
Listening to Professor Jordan Peterson, he said something to the effect of (talking about how to combat social justice/political correctness in the college classroom) you can either stand up and say what you think is true or stay silent and let it corrupt your soul (read soul as consciousness). He also followed it up with you better have your arguments in order and believe what you are saying and stand behind what you say, because that is how you will educate yourself (not an exact quote but here is a link to the video I was watching https://youtu.be/pa8po_9anHU). It is okay to stand up and say what you believe is true, someone will come along and tell you that you are wrong and if you are wrong or can’t think of an argument to refute them go and think about it. Maybe you are wrong, or maybe you just don’t know enough yet.
My opinion on posting publicly has changed a little bit since the last time I wrote about it. I think that not saying your opinion when you want to is a form of self-censorship. It is easier to go along to get along and to keep your mouth shut. Yet self-censorship is just as bad as external censorship. Both force you to keep something bottled up inside until it comes out in a different way (violence, passive aggression, addiction or any number of ways). Why should we be afraid to say what we think just because people will call us names and socially shame us (or at least attempt to)? Biologically we have a drive to not upset the group because in our past being exiled from the group would mean less chance for survival. You can even see a modern parallel to that today with people being fired because they think differently from the group or post something on Twitter that someone finds offensive. I can understand the reason for wanting to keep the calm and live a life in peace. Yet I keep thinking, at some point I will be in the crosshairs and want someone to stand up for me but if I don’t stand up for others there will be no one left to stand with me.
I am not saying you need to post nothing but political stuff on Facebook. In fact that can get a bit annoying at times. Instead I am saying you should feel free to express your point of view, who knows, your point of view may be right. You’ll never know though until you express it and have to stand behind that point of view. Instead, what I am saying is don’t be afraid to say what you are thinking. If someone posts something and you disagree or think they are wrong and want to say something, than say something. Don’t be afraid of your freedom of speech, censorship is what social justice warriors want, they don’t care if it is self-imposed or they have to physically impose it (and they have and will). So get your ideas in order, learn to express them intelligently, and be ready to stand behind them.

Nazi: Punching them, looking for them, and identifying them

The term Nazi appeared in Germany in the early 20th century and meant someone who was a member of the national socialist workers party. The word quickly grew into one that brought dread to those that heard it as Hitler rolled across Europe. After WWII the word took on even a more horrific meaning when it came fully into the light what Hitler and the Nazi’s had done. Since then Nazi has been used to disparage people who show fascist tendencies or anti-Semitic views. Lately in America the term Nazi has been used to describe the other party’s candidate, usually the winning candidate. Currently the mainstream media, protesters, college students and Democratic politicians have been calling Donald Trump a fascist and his followers Nazi’s.

Richard Spencer was punched in the head by an Antifa (Antifascist) protester. Richard Spencer is a white nationalist. He believes in a white ethno state but has not come out and said he wants violence against people of other races. Instead he just wants them separated, basically think segregation. That’s enough attention to that guy, the real story here is what happened afterward. People came out and said it is okay to punch a Nazi. They would use excuses like Holocaust happen if you don’t punch Nazi’s or people on believe Nazi stuff because they did not have that punched out of them as a kid.

What makes this terrible is since the National Socialist Workers Party does not exist anymore how do you determine who is a Nazi and who isn’t. This line of thinking can lead you to look at someone’s actions to see if they are a Nazi. But what are Nazi actions? Is having a different opinion then you a Nazi action? Or is beating someone up who had a different opinion than you a Nazi action? This line of reasoning, which a lot of people in my home state subscribe to either as okay to do or okay to ignore, can lead people to just think that those who disagree with them politically are Nazi’s. Since they are Nazi’s they are okay to punch.

In the end you cannot just know who is a Nazi. In truth very few people are Nazi’s or subscribe to Nazi ideas. Do not punch people unless you are being physically assaulted or are about to be physically assaulted. You cannot punch people just because you disagree with them and think they are Nazi’s.

Living in a Dog Rescue

“You have how many puppies at your house?”

“Six, plus 6 adult dogs”

“Oh, I’d love to be around that many dogs/puppies all the time.”

I have had this conversation several times. Like everything in life, it is true and untrue. First some background. My wife started her own dog rescue (Puplandia Dog Rescue, look it up and like it on Facebook). I fully supported her in this, at the time we owned 5 dogs and she was already doing volunteer work for another rescue. It quickly took off and before we knew it we had lots of dogs at our house. We were asked to foster a litter of puppies for another rescue while my wife pulled a litter of puppies out of a kill shelter. I think we had a total of 11 puppies and 8 adult dogs in the house. (Don’t worry that is not the most we have had in our house at one time. And our house is pretty small).

When I have a conversation like the one above I just laugh (in my head) at the people who I am talking to. They only see how cute and lovable the puppy is and experience how much fun it is to cuddle and play with them. While you get that 100 times over by having the puppies at your house, you also have to clean up after them. Most people have had a puppy before, either as a kid or an adult, so they understand that it is some work to care for them. What they don’t see is that late night or early morning bark-fest one hour before you have to get up and go to work. Yes if you run a dog rescue you still have to have a regular job, got to pay the bills somehow. They don’t smell the poop filling the house after a meal. Six puppies can poop a lot and pee everywhere. They don’t just poop on the pads either, in fact they more often than not just tear them up and poop where they used to be.

Having a litter of puppies at your house also means you are never board. They are always exploring and finding new and interesting things. Puppies don’t let you be depressed. They are always happy to see you and their sweet faces and wagging tails will bring a smile to your face. Yes it is hard work to have puppies in your home but knowing they are safe, full, happy and healthy and you go to bed exhausted only to get up in a few hours and do it all over again, you feel a sense of joy. It is hard to care for these puppies and pick up their poop and then when they are old enough find them amazing homes, but you know that all your work meant something. That you made things a little bit better, not only for the puppy you rescued but the family who adopts them and for yourself. So while I laugh (in my head) at people who say they would love to have a litter of puppies at their house, it is not because I think less of them but because I know it is true, just not in the way they think.

Puppies are amazing, but please do not breed your dogs, rescue. There are a lot of dogs who are euthanized every day, we don’t need to breed our dogs. If you want there are pregnant dogs in shelters that need help, but please get your pets spayed or neutered.

Where's the Revolution / Revolution mash up

You've been kept down
You've been pushed 'round
You've been lied to
You've been fed truths
Who's making your decisions?
You or your religion
Your government, your countries
You patriotic junkies

Where's the revolution

You say you want a revolution
Well, you know

Come on, people
You're letting me down

We all want to change the world

Where's the revolution
Come on, people
You're letting me down

You tell me that it's evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world

You've been pissed on
For too long
Your rights abused
Your views refused
They manipulate and threaten
With terror as a weapon
Scare you till you're stupefied

Wear you down until you're on their side

But when you talk about destruction
Don't you know that you can count me out
Don't you know it's gonna be
All right, all right, all right

Where's the revolution

You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We'd all love to see the plan

Come on, people
You're letting me down

You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We're doing what we can

Where's the revolution
Come on, people
You're letting me down

Where's the revolution
Come on, people
You're letting me down

But if you want money for people with minds that hate
All I can tell is brother you have to wait

The train is coming
The train is coming
The train is coming
The train is coming
So get on board

Don't you know it's gonna be
All right, all right, all right

Get on board
Get on board
Get on board

You say you'll change the constitution

The engine's humming
The engine's humming
The engine's humming
The engine's humming

Well, you know

So get on board
Get on board
Get on board
Get on board

We all want to change your head

The train is coming
The train is coming
The train is coming
The train is coming

You tell me it's the institution

So get on board
Get on board
Get on board
Get on board

Well, you know

The engine's humming
The engine's humming
The engine's humming
The engine's humming

You better free you mind instead

So get on board
Get on board
Get on board

Where's the revolution
Come on, people
You're letting me down

But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao

Where's the revolution
Come on, people
You're letting me down

You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow

Where's the revolution
Come on, people
You're letting me down

Don't you know it's gonna be
All right, all right, all right
All right, all right, all right
All right, all right, all right
All right, all right

The Battle of He Will Not Divide Us (HWNDU)

The battle of HWNDU

The Normies, incensed by Trump’s victory through the use of meme magic granted him by Pepe, kek be upon him, sent the Normie General Shia LaBeouf to invade New York in an operation known as He Will Not Divide Us (HWNDU). At first a great force of Normies occupied the webcam with their battle cry He Will Not Divide Us. Quickly the Kekistani people rallied and initiated a resistance against the occupying force. At first Kekistani Troll troopers infiltrated the webcam and sent messages to other Kekistani people, spreading the message of resistance using the Normies own weapons against them.

In one battle a Kekistani only known as The Hero of Reeeeeeee trolled the Normie’s so hard they became frustrated. This was part of the Kekistani Resistance plan to get the Normie force angry in order to unbalance them. Shortly after that General Shia returned to rally the troops only to be met by another Kekistani Troll Trooper. This troll Trooper, of Hitler did nothing wrong fame managed to take down general Shia with a single use of meme magic. The police showed up and arrested Shia, a great victory for the Kekistani people.

Other exploits of the Battle of HWNDU can be found in the great Kekistani archives of YouTube. Exploits like the Charge of the Milk Brigade, The Stand of the Museum of Kek, and Night Raid of Shadilay that lasted hours until the batters on the MP3 player died, but by then the damage was done. The overwhelming resistance to the Normie invasion eventually led the Normies under a returned General Shia to retreat to Albuquerque, New Mexico. This maneuver was quickly routed by the Kekistani people and their allies the Trump supporters.

In a panic General Shia disbanded his forces and retreated again. General Shia still had one more tactic ready. He set up his camera aimed at a flag that said He Will Not Divide Us, clearly intent on the suppression and persecution of the Kekistani people. The people of Kekistan are proud and with the help of their intelligence agency of 4chan they were able to locate the oppressive Normie flag. They took the flag down and in its place raised up a Kekistani T-shirt and a Make America Great Again hat. A flag raising only to be rivaled by the flag raised at Iwo Jima during WWII.

The Normies have been driven from the meme fields for now but the Kekistani people must remain ever vigilant against the foes who would seek to steal the power of Pepe and the lush meme fields of Kekistan. Normiestan and Cuckistan will try and take the meme fields again but the Kekistani people will resist.

Praise Pepe, Kek be upon him.

Snoop Dogg Not Clowning Around

I have been trying to figure out if Snoop Dogg was joking with his video. I am all for jokes and had no problem with the rodeo clown that wore an Obama mask (as well as a Bush and Bill Clinton mask). So if Snoop Dog was just making a joke than I should be okay with it. So the question is was he making a joke or not? I’ve watched the video several times and other than the use of clowns I have not found anything to lead me to believe that it was supposed to be a joke video.

The video shows a man being shot by a cop for having a toy gun in his briefcase after being pulled over for smoking pot. If the video is supposed to be a joke than why is he making fun of people being shot by cops needlessly? This tone continues throughout the video with lyrics like:

Fuck the police, from a black man's point of view
Spray that shit, say that shit

And

Clownin' around, don't come your clown ass 'round here
Nigga you gon' get down
Real talk, I'm leavin' all you clown ass niggas outlined in chalk

Not really like any jokes I’ve heard before. Check out the full lyrics here

Reading the lyrics I was more surprised than hearing them. With the music and the video the lyrics get lost a little bit. The video goes on to show a clown version of Donald Trump called Ronald Klump. As the video draws to an end you see Snoop Dogg holding a gun aimed at Ronald Klump’s head while the Klump has his hands up. Snoop Dogg pulls the trigger and a bang flag comes out. The gun with a bang flag is an old troupe joke so it made me question if the whole video was just a joke. Yet examining the video and the lyrics farther leads me to believe that it was not a joke. Finally the video ends with Ronald Klump tied up in chains while Snoop and another man try to intimidate him while smoking and passing something back and forth.

When asked about the video Snoop had this to say:

“Any time I drop something, I’m trying to fill in a void…I feel like it’s a lot of people making cool records, having fun, partying, but nobody’s dealing with the real issue with this fucking clown as president, and the shit that we dealing with out here, so I wanted to take time out to push pause on a party record and make one of these records for the time being.”

--Snoop Dogg

He says “Nobody’s dealing with the real issue with this fucking clown as president”. It would appear that Snoop’s method in dealing with this “fucking clown” is to shoot him and put him in chains. Violence against those you politically disagree with is never okay unless they are physically violent with you. It would seem this is an aging gangster rappers last attempt to keep his street cred which was lost long ago in a puff of marijuana smoke. Bye Snoop whatever you’re calling yourself now (lion, dogg, who knows) it was a wild ride while it lasted. Time to retire and live off your mom like a good Regressive.

The media flu

The media is sick in America. It has caught a fever of sensationalism. This is fine when we realize that this is not new in America. The job of a news station is to get people to watch, the same job that sitcoms have. The media used to hold up this standard of unbiased reporting as the ideal of what it meant to be a reporter and a news outlet. Now it is all about how many people can we get to watch and how fast can we get the story out before everyone else. This is also fine.        What is not fine is taking the news media as a fair and unbiased source of reporting. This appearance is what has changed and it can clearly be seen. We like to pretend that we have an unbiased media and that we are accepting of others and their points of view. In reality we never have been. That is not to say America is terrible, in fact the opposite is true. America is great because of the ideals it was founded on. The idea that everyone is created equal. That everyone has a right outside of government to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The Government does not give these rights to us but instead we are born with them. These ideals are at the foundation of what America is.

The narrative that America is terrible often points out terrible things that have happened in the past. They look at the slaughter of native people, slavery, and segregation. They fail to look at historical context. Conquest is nothing new and America is no different in that regard. They also fail to point out the fact that the Native Americans attacked and killed people too. Was what happened to the native people right? Yes and no. That is the best answer you can get with most any historic event. Was what Genghis Khan did great or terrible? He opened up a lot of trade, was tolerant of religion, spread doctors and teachers throughout his empire. But he also killed people, destroyed towns, and used biological warfare. The same can be said about America or any other country on the face of the earth. Every other culture has had slavery as well. Segregation has also taken part throughout history. So when you take these factors in terms of historical context and realize that they are nothing different then you have to look at the roots of a culture.

In the West the root of this culture is in the individual before the state. In America the individual comes first, then the family, then your extended family and your neighborhood, your community and city and so on until you get to the state and the nation. The media wants you to believe that America and Western culture is evil (racist, sexist, xenophobic, etc.) but this is simply not true. If it were true wouldn’t you see laws outlawing homosexuality or immigration? Would it not be more advantageous to be a member of the KKK instead of a liability or something to be publicly shamed for? The media wants it to be true because they can stay relevant. They can be the one that finally reveals the ‘truth’ behind the curtain that America is a truly awful place full of hate. They want it to be true so bad that they are willing to make it up. They have also forged an alliance with Social Justice Warriors at the universities and the Hollywood elites so they can attempt to control the narrative. America is rejecting that narrative and you can see the outrage by the media, SJW’s and Hollywood come out in the form of Antifa. Media will always be biased and write anything as long as it gets views. My advice, don’t get caught up in it all, try to make yourself a good person, and don’t forget to laugh.

A Story for Universities

A mom walks into the grocery store with her 5 year old son. She selects a few items and places them in her cart while he son constantly asks her for things. “Mommy can I have this, mommy can I have that?” Each time the mother replies “No dear, that’s not healthy” or “Sorry honey we can’t afford that.” As they walk down an aisle the boy runs ahead of his mother and grabs a package of cookies and runs back to his mom. “I want this” the boy says and tosses it in the cart “Okay” the mom replies tired of arguing with her son, besides what could one package of cookies hurt. The boy darts off again, this time coming back with a jumbo pack of cupcakes. “We are getting this” the boy says and again the mom says sure, those are her favorite cupcakes after all.

The boy’s face lights up and he skips on ahead. This time he comes back with a large soda bottle and puts it into the cart. “We are getting this too” the boy says. “Sorry honey we only drink soda on holiday’s remember.” The boy looks at his mom with an angry face. She is taken aback for a moment. “We are getting this soda!” The boy screams. People start to look and the mom can feel the eyes on her. “Okay dear,” she says “Now let’s finish our shopping quietly.” The boy grins and tilts his head back a glint in his eye. This time he grabs a box of fresh baked doughnuts and puts it in the cart.

“We are getting these and I’m going to eat them all on the way home” The mom hesitates and finally says “No honey we aren’t getting those donuts” The boy stamps his feet and starts to cry and scream. “Now that’s enough dear” the mom says a tinge of fear in her voice. But the boy continues to scream and runs down the aisle and knocks over a display. People stop and watch, the mother feels the eyes on her but tries to stand firm. The boy continues his rampage. He knocks items off the shelf and pushes the cart and yells at his mom “you are such a bad mom, you never feed or take care of me” The mother can see people watching and listening, she can almost hear what they are thinking. “What a terrible mother, why doesn’t she take care of her kid?” He son goes on, “You are the worst mother on the planet, you are so stupid, why do you hate me?” The mother can feel everyone in the store has stopped and are looking at her, listening to her son. She has no idea what to do. Does she give in just to make the problem go away? Does she discipline her child in the store? What if someone calls the cops because they think she is abusing her son? Does she ask for help?

Universities, wake up, stop letting these children run the school. Don’t let protesters shut down a speech that other students, want to hear, paid to hear, and organized according to your guidelines. Do not be ashamed to discipline students and teachers for acts of violence and destruction. Would you let the KKK on campus to brake windows and burn things all to stop a speaker who they did not like? Would you tell the cops to stand down while people are being beaten in the street, businesses are being looted and smashed? Universities need to stand up against this, but we all know they will not. They are the universities now. The Professors are teaching this sort of behavior to their students. They are joining in the social justice crusade and praising those who commit violence and shut down free speech. They are the embodiment of the extreme of violent compassion.

The Culture War

I realize more and more that we are in a large culture war. Gamergate flew under the radar for most people who are not in the gaming community and who just don’t pay attention to that sort of thing. That was the testing ground. Now with attacks on Pewdiepie and Milo they are going full out. The videos put out by NBC are just them inducting child soldiers into the culture war (I know that is a bit extreme and feel free to correct me but that is how it seems). This video is supposed to shame people into thinking, “Well if children are afraid of Trump then he must be a bad man.”

It tries to illicit the parental protection circuit in our brains to make people hate/fear Trump for hurting or scaring our children much the same way a parent’s brain will hate/fear a predator attempting to eat our children. I have never really bought into the whole media collusion thing until I saw all the articles attacking Pewdiepie and Milo. In the case of Milo they knew about what he had said because he said it around a year ago and they sat on it until now when he was set to speak at CPAC. They all released their articles at the same time in a concentrated attack in an effort to get him deplatformed and get his book deal cancelled. They were successful.

They also separated Pewdiepie from Disney in the same way. We all know Walt Disney has a reputation for being an anti-Semite and so of course the Disney Company is very sensitive to anything anti-Semitic. It was no mistake that they tried to paint Pewdiepie as an anti-Semite and it worked. They also waited to release the story until his show on YouTube Red was about to come out. I fear my mind is slipping into conspiracy theory about mass media collusion and globalist agendas. I used to laugh at Glen Beck and Alex Jones when they talked about that stuff. But with the immigrant crisis in Europe, the suppression of Western ideas of free speech and individual rights, people advocating for open borders, and the splitting of people into identity groups I can’t help but wonder if those conspiracy theories were actually partly true.

I have not read a lot of Marx but I remember learning (in public school of all places) that part of the idea of communism is that the working class the world over would rise up and install communism and the great world utopia would start. Except they realized that people don’t identify as workers throughout the world. Workers in one country are not going to be very sympathetic towards workers in another country, especially if the workers in one country are not treated terribly. But people will identify with race or sex/gender or religion. Marxism needs a rigid class structure to exist in some form so the oppressed class can rise up and overthrow the oppressor class. A monarch or fascist or dictator is the ultimate embodiment of an oppressor (why do you think they seem so set on making Trump out to be a fascist and crazy?) With all the protests against Trump throughout the West (why would people in Britain and Australia care about an elected official in America?) all using the same chants and tactics, it would seem they have built up this oppressed class (immigrants in Europe or America, minorities in America, Muslims, LGBTQIA+ or whatever, women). They have an oppressor and he is a white, straight, male business man, who was successful so has become rich (and was born to a wealthy family), and who is not politically correct.

They could not get elected to office so they are trying to recruit by starting a culture war. They think if they can show that enough people think one way than it must be true and if you think a different way then you will be shamed by being called a racist, bigot etc. It feels good to be part of the group, our primate brains wire us that way to protect us. They are using Hollywood, Universities, and the Media in an attempt to get everyone on their side. They attacked gamers because it is a media they don’t control where merit counts above all else, they attacked Milo because he does not fit the rigid class definition of a gay man and stands up for free speech, they attacked Steve Harvey because he doesn’t fit the class structure of a black man, and they attacked Pewdiepie because they can’t control his media and he has a larger reach/audience then they do. With Brexit and Trump and hopefully Le Pen in France, and Professor Jordan Peterson in Canada, Western culture is fighting back.

Inside a protest

You march in the street, a bunch of people around you. You remember meeting up before the march, everyone seemed friendly, chatting, smiling and laughing. Now everyone is yelling, “F*** the police” “black lives matter” and cursing at the police. The cops are clearly getting agitated and scared. Someone shouts “death to pigs” and gets in the face of a police officer. The officer asks the person to back up and the person refuses. The officer takes a step back clearly just wanting some space, but the protester moves up again refusing to leave the officer alone. You can see the frustration mounting in the officer.
Someone throws a bottle and it shatters between the police line and the protesters. You feel the tension elevate with the shattering glass. The people you are with surge forward, pressing you toward the police line. An officer yells but you can’t hear what he is saying over the crowd shouting around you. The officer shouts again and you catch a few words, “Please… designated area… orderly…” You were told that it was okay to march here, but you do not have enough time to think about the situation as the people you are with yell back at the officers. “Our rights… Down with tyranny…”
The police stand silently in a clean line, but you are close enough to see how tense the officers are. The people behind you are surging forward again, the crowd seeming to feed off the officer’s tension. You start to panic, you feel trapped and can tell this is a bad situation. All you can think of is that you wanted to promote social change and help people, not get into a screaming match with the police, and now you just want to get out of here. You can see the same look on the faces of others around you.
An officer puts his hand up and tells someone down the line to back up pushing them off him. The man starts yelling as if he had been punched and falls into someone. Did he get punched, you are not sure, everything is happening so fast. You feel the crowds anger rise and you get angry too. They cannot beat people in the street. The crowd yells and pushes forward, the front line is shoved into the police. The cops all start yelling for everyone to back up. The crowd surges again. The officers grab people and starts tackling them and put them in handcuffs. This just outrages the crowd and someone shoves a cop off someone he is placing in handcuffs. Three cops tackle the person who shoved the officer, slamming him against the pavement. A cop yells at everyone to back away. Everyone is yelling, officers are putting people in handcuffs. People are running. Someone gets sprayed with pepper spray. Everything seemed to go in slow motion now. You feel dizzy.
Someone bumps into you and you fall onto a cop. He pins you and puts you in handcuffs. You just wanted to help, just wanted to make a difference. How did you get here? Who is this helping? As the officers puts you on the curb you see the news stations and reporters and overhear them. “Police brutality reaches a new level” “A peaceful protest turns violent when cops attack protesters” Each station putting their own spin on it, only worried about getting the story out before all the other stations.
Before you know it everything is over and you are being released from the police station. You return home and turn on the TV and see a politician. He is calling for change, saying this divide needs to end and blames the other party for promoting the split. You change the channel. Another politician. She blames the other party as well. You change it back he blames the police. Change it again, she blames the protesters. Your head spins, you don’t know who to believe.
You were there and everything happened so fast. Did the cop throw the first punch? Did the protesters violate the law by not staying in the designated area? These questions fall away as you think again, I just wanted to help, to make a difference. But did you really do anything? Did you help anyone who actually needed it? It made for some good sound bites for the politicians, the news stations got something to run for the week, the heads of the movement got their faces on TV. But did you help those you wanted to help? Or were you just used?

NoFact #2 Neo-Nazi Intimidates Immigrants in Progress City

Last Monday, a man identified as Sun W Hitguy was spotted in downtown Progress City marching on the side walk. Sun, a white male, was wearing the latest in Nazi fashion the Make America Great Again hat along with a t-shirt with an image of the American flag on it. According to a witness, Libby S. Noflic, the man completely ignored a homeless person asking for change and would nod his head at people of color while smiling at them, causing many of them to be afraid. Another witness, Il E Gal, who the man smiled at in a gross display of white privilege said he felt as if the Neo Nazi was smiling at him as if to say, “Be afraid, you don’t belong here.” He goes on to report that the man even said “Heil O” as he walked past clearly a Neo-Nazi chant.
Citizens in Progress are upset and outraged and many have called the mayor to voice their understandable outrage. NoFact News called the mayor’s office which initially refused to make a statement. Earlier today Mayor Virt U Signal held a press conference where he stated that this kind of hate is not acceptable and “will not be tolerated and does not reflect the community of Progress City. It's not who we are.” Mayor Signal also said he will require the police force to undergo training in how to spot Neo-Nazi’s and work on ways to stem the rising tide of hate that is becoming so normalized in this country.

NoFact News #1 A Day Without a Gun

A local teenager was suspended for four weeks at Sen C Tiv High School today for threatening gun violence. The student’s name has not been released but the school closed early today and parents were called to come pick up their children several hours after the incident happened. One teacher who wished to remain anonymous told a NoFact reporter that the student was showing a picture on his phone of a photo he had taken of him holding a photo of his grandfather from WWII. In the photo, the student in the picture on his phone is holding, is a soldier in the background with an assault weapon. As a precaution several police officers were called off of important patrols to respond and sit in the parking lot until their shift was over. Governor Oppor T Nistic’s office released a statement saying he applauds the principle’s decision to shut down the school and that citizens should use this incident to start a dialog about how we need to raise awareness of the growing gun problem in schools. He proposes a new tax to fund a program he calls Cash for Crooks where he will take the money to do with as he wants and he hopes that will be a start on solving this crisis. NoFact also spoke with city commissioner Don T Treadonme. Don said “Gov. Nistic’s plan is a clear overreach, I propose a new plan to bring spanking back to schools, giving the teachers the ability to bring the classroom back in line.” Treadonme’s plan would call for a cut to all social services in order to pay for the new training and paddles. Patsy Buck a concerned parent of a student at Sen C Tiv was interviewed while picking up her child from the high school. She said “I blame all the violence on video games, movies, rap music, rock music, Satan, no religion in schools, GMO’s, illegal immigrants, the internet, Facebook, Corporations, Unions, greedy politicians, welfare, gangs, drugs, TV shows, global warming, the war, too much discipline in schools, too much pressure on our kids to succeed, lack of discipline in schools, lack of funding for schools, and of course Bill Cosby.” The local community can breathe a sigh of relief today having narrowly escaped a situation where someone may have had the possibility to be offended or afraid, and is given a chance to address these important issues that we will promptly forget about in the coming days.

The Church of Social Justice

I am going to attempt to explain the Church of Social Justice from an outsider perspective. I am not one of the anointed or even a lay member, instead I am just a fascinated observer.

First off to understand the Church of Social Justice you must understand some of the language they use. Microaggressions are “the everyday verbal, nonverbal, and environmental slights, snubs, or insults, whether intentional or unintentional, which communicate hostile, derogatory, or negative messages to target persons based solely upon their marginalized group membership.”

Trigger Warning “A statement at the start of a piece of writing, video, etc., alerting the reader or viewer to the fact that it contains potentially destressing material (often used to introduce a description of such content).

Safe space “a term for an area or forum where either a marginalized group are not supposed to face standard mainstream stereotypes and marginalization, or in which a shared political or social viewpoint is required to participate in the space.”

Now that the language has been defined we can take a look into the core doctrine of the Church of Social Justice. The core belief of Social Justice is in the Trinity of Equality of Outcome, Identity Politics, and Post Modern Socialism.

This Trinity is the highest belief in the Church and describes member’s world view. Equality of Outcome is something to strive for, the ultimate divine perfection of the world. It means that regardless of anything else the outcome for any endeavor should mirror a society’s population.

For example if a population has 50% men and 50% women any endeavor should be made up of 50% men and 50% women regardless of the talents of the individual. If a specific endeavor does not meet this requirement it falls short of this divine standard and is seen as profane.

Identity Politics is the hierarchy of which the Church is built. It is a ridged structure that separates people into groups based on identity. In this hierarchy certain identities are valued more than others. The people at the top of this hierarchy are viewed as closer to the divine then other members. They are the ones that get to speak directly to the divine Lived Experiences and as such can preach to the lower members of the Church.

It is their duty to educate the people who believe but cannot understand due to their identity as well as perform missionary works. This missionary work include going into places where people are ignorant of Social Justice such as companies, political structures, or any group/organization as well as preaching on the street.

Once they have entered these areas it is the missionary’s job to explain to the heathens how they are in danger from the seven deadly sins of Racism, Sexism, Misogyny, Bigotry, Transphobia, Islamophobia, and Homophobia. They seek to educate these heathens and convert them to the Church of Social Justice through a couple different methods.

First they try to educate people with their claims, which are to be accepted on faith as truth. If that does not work then they try to guilt people into following what they believe by accusing people of perpetuating one or more of the sins. If the person still does not convert then more drastic measure can be taken such as public shaming, forcing people out of an office/position, or lawsuits and mob justice.

Post Modern Socialism is the final piece in the Churches Trinity. This belief within the Church is that your reality is the true reality. That is to say that social constructs such as gender, sexual identity and biological gender are evils built by the Devil (more on the Church of Social Justice Devil later).

This means that everything is in your mind and if you believe it then it is true. This allows people within the Church to break away from the profane ideas of biology and science in favor of the truth of emotions and opinions/Lived Experiences as interpreted by the church.

At times parts of this Trinity clashes with one another and causes a split in the Church. This splitting causes smaller groups to identify as part of a broader Church of Social Justice, much the same way there are different sects of Christianity.

A few of these sects include, Black Lives Matter, Feminism, and the LBGTQIA+. Currently these sects exist together under the broader Church of Social Justice but there may be a time in the future where an ecumenical council is held and a reformation may occur. Although this typically happens once a Church or religious group has gained enough power, the Church of Social Justice prides itself on being the oppressed group, it remains to be seen if this will actually come to pass.

Identity Politics and Post Modernism clash when someone identifies as something else and the Church does not know where in the hierarchy they now belong. This question has not been answered fully by the Church of Social Justice but it will need to be addressed in the future.

The faith of the Church of Social Justice has a Devil included. This Devil comes in the form of White Straight Cis-gendered Male Capitalist Patriarchy. This Devil can be found corrupting every part of the world and unless you adhere to the tenets of the Church of Social Justice then you are corrupted by this Devil.

White Straight Cis-gendered Males are seen as having been created in this Devils image and are inherently evil as well as indoctrinated in believing He isn’t real. The faithful know that the White Straight Cis-gendered Male Capitalist Patriarchy is real and have a real fear and hatred of it.

Reactions to heathens range from an attempt to reeducate and indoctrinate to violently purging them. This can be seen in the University which are the earthly locations of the Church of Social Justice. It is here where the Church elders preach sermons on African-American Studies, Gender Studies, and Feminist studies.

I had the chance to attend one of these sermons while I was in college. It was fascinating how as a white straight cis-gendered male in a women’s literature class that the one time I contributed to the conversation, everyone even the preacher, listened, ignored and moved on as if I did not exist. It was a marvelous example of no platforming, a tactic used to protect the faithful from outsiders by limiting the speech of outsiders as hate speech and thus unholy.

Microaggressions are seen as attacks on members, as bad as the Roman Emperors feeding Christians to lions in the great circus maximus. Like any struggling religion it has picked up a few saints and martyrs along the way.

Michael Brown the Martyr and patron Saint of Hands up Don’t Shoot is believed to be the first person to put his hands in the air against the White Straight Cis-gendered Male Capitalist Patriarchy and was killed for doing so. This started the tradition of adherents raising their hands in the air.

Colin Kaepernick is the Kneeling Saint who refused to accept the empire built by the White Straight Cis-gendered Male Capitalist Patriarchy. Caitlyn Jenner the patron Saint of Transition. These are just a few of the saints and martyrs associated with the Church.

The Church also blesses events and scared texts by performing the blessing of a Trigger Warning. These blessing let the faithful know that despite how bad the following is the Church will be there for them. Members of the Church also consecrate holy ground and call it a Safe Space. People not of the faith or members not holy enough are denied access to these Safe Spaces.

These spaces are used for the Church leaders to escape from the profane world and discus matters concerning the faithful as well as commune with the divine Lived Experiences. The Church has no recognized leader yet but it is ripe for a charismatic passionate faithful leader to come along and guide the Church in the direction it needs to go to achieve the divine order of Equality of Outcome.

This Church, while not a new movement, has certainly gained traction over the past couple years. It grows in popularity and strength and has made headway into the mainstream. From its core belief in the Trinity of Equality of Outcome, Identity Politics, and Post Modernism it seeks to stand as a bulwark against the evil of the White Straight Cis-gendered Male Capitalist Patriarchy.

Its followers bravely stand against the uneducated heathens in massive mobs of righteousness and are converting college students in astounding numbers. Is this Church the next mainstream religion or will it fall to the dust bin of history as many cults before it have? Only time will tell.

War for the West

There is a war going on in the west and we are losing. This year has seen a rise in mass protests and a belief in social justice. Students on college campus’ calling for the end of freedom of speech. As well as a rise in totalitarianism. This has not sprung up overnight and is not spontaneous despite what the media would have us think. These movement are deliberately planned and carried out with the full knowledge of those leading these movements.

I live near Portland Oregon, a city known for being weird, where it is acceptable to be different. That is unless you disagree with the group or the narrative that is being pushed. I see this mentality on the rise in other place in the country. People will take to the street over a lie they were told that is being pushed by the media. “Hands up don’t shoot” or the Mizzou Protests are just two large examples of this happening. The ideas behind these movements is not based in fact but instead works on emotion. They act like a mother bear protecting her cubs, anyone or anything that tries to get close is to be seen as a threat and to be destroyed. If you disagree with Black Lives Matter then you’re a racist. You don’t believe in the wage gap, then you’re a sexist.

This is nothing new, there have always been people who get offended at anything, and the difference now is that the movement is gaining traction. If you listen to these people, on the surface, they seem compassionate and seem to care for others. In fact they actually view themselves that way. But anything taken to an extreme is going to be bad. Too much compassion for an issue blinds you to the facts. The repeated calls for social justice and the actions taken by those making those calls are alarming. They are alarming because of what is being asked and the fact that people are giving in to those demands. You don’t like the president of the university, just say he hit you with his car and go on a hunger strike, and he will be forced out/resign. You don’t like that an organization has too many white or male employees, start a protest about how they do not care about diversity. There are even calls for ‘safe spaces’ for black people, meaning the same people who will tell you Jim Crowe and segregation was bad, is now acceptable as long as they are in charge.

That is the point to all of this. They use people’s emotions and empathy to gain power, and if that does not work they switch to shaming. Then if you still refuse, mob social justice. They want to control the conversation and police your life because they, in their wisdom as degree holders who have seen the light, know what is best. If something is too offensive to someone then it should be illegal, if you make too much it should be taken away and given to those who ‘need it more’. If you are part of the wrong group then you are an oppressor, regardless of any actions you may or may not have taken. Instead of personal responsibility they see everything as a group. If people in your group ever did anything wrong in the past then you are responsible for it and reap the benefits of it now. That is why you are successful, not because you worked hard but because you stole it from someone else. This is socialism and totalitarianism. And people are giving in to it. Nowhere is this more evident than on university campuses where the faculty give in, promote, participate, and even celebrate this sort of behavior. The university is where our next generation of leaders are supposed to come from and if this is what the leadership is promoting, than the west is in trouble.

As a millennial myself, I find that my ideas of free speech and a right to a trial are quickly becoming outdated. Free speech will be censored in the name of stopping hate speech, innocent until proven guilty will be replaced by social justice. Not because of an appeal to facts but because it feels good to do it. Yet with Brexit and the election of Trump I can see a hope that maybe I’m not the only one who is outraged by those who fight for social justice. Maybe I’m not the only one who waits for the facts before making a decision. The very values of western society are under attack and we are losing that battle, but we have not lost yet.
